The Tegel+ Brass Ensemble consists of 15 enthusiastic amateur and semi-professional musicians. The group's musical repertoire ranges from the Renaissance and Baroque periods to contemporary and popular styles.

The "+" in the name symbolizes the ensemble's connection to church brass music. It also refers to the former "Tegel Plus" region, from which the large, merged parish of Tegel-Borsigwalde emerged, to which the ensemble belongs.
