Hallelujah, the nuns are on the loose!
Showtime at the Convent
When disco diva Deloris suddenly has to go into hiding at a convent, two worlds collide: With her groove, she stirs up the church choir, strikes up entirely new tunes penned by eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (including Disney’s ALADDIN and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST), and creates divine chaos.
Secure the best seats for SISTER ACT now and look forward to a divine spectacle full of heavenly humor, beloved characters, and a rousing soundtrack that blows the dust off the hymnals and is guaranteed to have every audience on their feet.
From the Nightclub to the Convent
After her performance, nightclub singer Deloris van Cartier accidentally witnesses a murder—and suddenly finds herself in the witness protection program. Instead of glamorous stage lights, she’s sent to a conservative convent, where she’s supposed to go into hiding as a humble nun—much to the chagrin of the strict Mother Superior… The singer is supposed to become part of the congregation through the church choir, but the nuns can’t hit a single note, so Deloris takes over as director. With her at the helm, every service becomes an event, and the masses draw ever-larger crowds—but when they’re finally scheduled to perform before the Pope, the gangsters track down Deloris, and the nuns unexpectedly find themselves in grave danger…
