The newly formed Ensemble Geschichte presents a musical reading of “The Toynbee Convector,” a moving and timeless science fiction story by Ray Bradbury.
Accompanied by chamber music for flute, violin, and cello, “The Toynbee Convector” paints a picture of a not-too-distant future in which despair, hope, and human ingenuity collide.
Music by Valerie Coleman, Joseph Haydn, and W. A. Mozart.
Following the reading, there will be a short discussion and a reception with beer and soda.
