About the book:
Pakistan is in a state of emergency. Sabiha is accused of murder and, with a gun in her luggage, seeks refuge at Sir Baghi’s language school. There, she discovers a passion for writing. Captain Gul, meanwhile, must deal with an illegitimate child and rebellious protesters.
