Rainer Langhans meets Gregor Gysi. As a co-founder of Kommune 1, Langhans became a symbolic figure of the ’68 movement and remains to this day a symbol of protest, provocation, and the search for alternative ways of life.

Over the decades, he has helped shape social debates, navigating the realms of political rebellion, media attention, and spiritual self-reflection.
In this conversation, Langhans and Gysi come together as two figures who have experienced and shaped the public sphere in very different ways. Their life stories could not be more different.
This makes it all the more exciting for the audience to witness how the two men’s experiences, convictions, and views clash this evening.
