Named after the Jewish philosopher Mendelssohn and imbued with the prophetic visions of doom from the prophet Jeremiah, Zweifelssohn moves between hotel rooms and train dining cars. Sometimes in denial, sometimes in recognition, his gaze is fixed on a violent present.
