Especially when the band gets the audience moving with their own compositions and selected Latin hits and gets the audience dancing. With arrangements by Juanita Olaya, Peter Schwarzt, and Julian Gretschel, the band has impressed on stages large and small – from jazz clubs to dance floors far beyond Berlin.
Since its founding in 2015, the band has grown to seven members, including top-class musicians: Juanita Olaya (vocals), Daigo Nakai (bass), Oliver Lepinat (piano), Shinichi Nakajima (drums), Juan Otalora (congas & percussion), Peter Schwarzt (trumpet), and Robert Gutowski (trombone). With the release of their first album, El Primero, in 2019, the Berlin band gained recognition beyond the scene's insiders. Their second album followed in 2024 and continues their success story.
