Four-day workshop: Tue–Fri / Aug. 11–14, 2026 / 4:00–8:00 p.m.
Step by step, participants will build their own canvas and prepare the painting surface. Inspired by Impressionist painting, they will then design and create their own painting—using acrylic paints and paints they’ve made themselves from pigments.
The workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced participants who want to delve deeply into an artistic method.
The participation fee includes material costs of 40 euros.
Instructor: Christiane van Beek
After completing her degree in social pedagogy, Christiane van Beek studied painting and graphic arts at the IBKK in Bochum from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, she founded a painting school for youth and adults in Münster and Berlin. Since 2007, she has been a member of the Federal Association of Visual Artists in North Rhine-Westphalia and Berlin. In addition to exhibiting her work as a freelance artist, she works as an art educator for various institutions.
