Together with goldsmith and artist Kiala Kanzi and the international artists of the multidisciplinary Kiala Kanzi Ensemble, visitors are invited to engage intensively with the technical and artistic preparatory steps that Constantin Brancusi also followed in the creation of his bronze sculptures.
The focus is on the lost-wax casting process, which Brancusi also used to prepare his bronze sculptures. The workshop leaders will offer only suggestions for participants’ own artistic thinking, thereby enabling them to experiment with their own processes of formal reduction and concentration.

As part of Volkswagen Group Art4All, admission to all exhibitions at the Neue Nationalgalerie, including BRANCUSI, is free every first Thursday of the month from 4 to 8 p.m.
