Thorsten Rosenbusch (violin), Dr. Eckart Möbius (piano)

Thorsten Rosenbusch (violin) and Dr. Eckart Möbius (piano). Their program combines well-known classics with rarely performed gems of the violin repertoire.

The program includes Fritz Kreisler’s “Liebesfreud,” Enrico Toselli’s romantic “Serenade,” and Vittorio Monti’s spirited “Csárdás.” The program is complemented by rarities such as “The Canary” and the virtuoso piece “The Bee.”

Thorsten Rosenbusch performed many of these works at a young age alongside his father, which shaped his love for these entertaining and virtuosic compositions early on. For over four decades, he served as first concertmaster at the “Staatsoper Unter den Linden” (Berlin) and collaborated with conductors such as Simon Rattle, Christian Thielemann, and Daniel Barenboim.

He will be accompanied on the piano by Dr. Eckart Möbius. In addition to his work as a physician, Möbius is a sought-after accompanist for art songs and instrumental pieces and is also a highly successful composer.

Look forward to a charmingly hosted evening full of music, emotion, and virtuosic brilliance—a delight for classical music connoisseurs and anyone who wants to become one.
