The Cell Theory is a recently formed trio born from the meeting of three musicians with distinct musical backgrounds.
- Alper Elmaci – Fender Rhodes, Rhodes bass, electronics
- Jung-Jae Kim – tenor saxophone
- Mark Ballyk – drums, percussion
The trio explores newly composed material through improvisation, drawing inspiration from the musical worlds of Morton Feldman, Delia Derbyshire, Ornette Coleman and others. Their performances unfold through evolving sonic cells, where repetition and non-repetition shape the direction of instant composition.
The concert will take place outdoors in the beer garden of the Berliner Berg Brewery. In case of rain or bad weather, please check our website to see if the event will take place as planned.
Free entry – it is suggested to give some money if you like the band.
