Horn Trios by Brahms and Attahir

Following his foray into electronic soundscapes in November, horn player Ben Goldscheider devotes his second concert entirely to the natural timbres of his instrument.

Together with violinist Alina Ibragimova and pianist Dénes Várjon, he will perform Johannes Brahms' Horn Trio of 1865, as well as a contemporary counterpart by the French composer Benjamin Attahir (*1990), which will celebrate its premiere this evening.

Ibragimova and Várjon will open the concert with Brahms' Sonata in A major for violin and piano.
