Join this two-hour guided tour to learn about the history and unique features of the Südgelände Nature Park. Over the past few decades, a unique natural oasis has emerged here, featuring pristine forests and open, dry areas.

Rare mosses, herbs, and insects have found a new habitat on the former rail yard.

During the walk among the railway relics, you’ll learn how the remarkable succession process is transforming a once-barren industrial site back into the primeval forest landscapes that originally existed here. Take home a wealth of information about this significant park, which you’re sure to see in a whole new light afterward.
