The play explores peer pressure among men and boundary violations in a sexual context. At its core are allegations of rape and the toxic loyalty among men that often silences the voices of those affected.

The performance raises fundamental questions: How can boundary violations and violence against women be addressed within male groups? What do men gain by avoiding this dialogue? How can the taboos surrounding this topic be overcome?

Although the play is primarily aimed at men, it invites everyone to participate in a public discussion about these socially relevant issues. The goal is to foster a better understanding of these dynamics, stimulate debate, and explore ways to take greater responsibility.

WENDEMÖGLICHKEIT tells the story of five men who, at first glance, seem very different, but who suddenly find themselves at the same point of escalation—and crisis.

In addition to the performance, the group offers a workshop for an aesthetic exploration of the topic of toxic masculinity. Attendance at the performance is recommended for anyone who wishes to participate in the “Männerwende” workshop. There, men are invited to search together for new, nonviolent, and solidarity-based ways of being men.
