What initially sounds like a classic duo unfolds in this concert a surprising sonic diversity: oboe and piano are augmented by English horn and toy piano. Vicente Moronta (Caracas) and Kathrin Isabelle Klein (Munich) also deliberately place works from the Americas in dialogue with European compositions, thus opening up new musical perspectives.
