Museum workshop for families with children aged 10 and over
Thousands of precious Asian porcelain pieces originally adorned the rooms of Oranienburg Palace. Some of these can still be seen in the porcelain collection today. A closer look reveals the imaginative painting techniques used on the porcelain.

In the workshop, children can try their hand at underglaze painting. Plants, animals, and landscapes are painted onto ceramics, using motifs from Far Eastern ink painting as inspiration.

Note: Participants will paint unglazed ceramic pieces. These will be fired and can be picked up at the ticket office in Oranienburg Palace after 14 days.
