Bosnia and Herzegovina, July 1995: Approximately 8,000 Bosnian men and boys were murdered in Srebrenica between 11 and 19 July 1995 under the command of Ratko Mladić, then Commander of the Bosnian Serb Army. The genocide remains the gravest war crime committed in Europe since the Second World War, even though the city was a UN protection zone at the time.

Thirty-one years later, on the official day of remembrance for the Srebrenica genocide, photographer Armin Smailovic and director Branko Šimić revisit these events in a musical staged reading, presenting them through three perspectives: those of the victims, the perpetrators, and the observers.

This powerful collage of texts, documentary material, photography, and music is performed by actors Jens Harzer and Vernesa Berbo, accompanied by musician Amira Berbo. The result is a focused and compelling artistic exploration of memory, responsibility, and historical perception.
