The Liederbörse, the special concert format for students, is celebrating its 18th anniversary this year. Those who took part in 2006 now have their degrees in their pockets and may already be singing at big sing-along concerts. The song exchange is continually developing and now counts around two dozen schools from Berlin and Brandenburg among its participants.
A total of around 1,500 children, divided into primary and secondary schools, prepare for the song fair throughout the school year. They are looking forward to being on stage together with the Rundfunkchor Berlin. Before the actual event, the singers attend school choir rehearsals in order to get the students excited about choral singing and to work with them to develop the repertoire of the song exchange.
On April 18th it's that time again. As every year, Berlin high school students invite you to the Chamber Music Hall of the Philharmonie.
This time, under the direction of Maike Bühle, they are presenting a program on the topic of “The Four Elements”.
