The focus is on heirloom fruit varieties, game, and herbs from one of Europe’s most biodiverse cultural landscapes. Each course tells a story of origin, season, and craftsmanship and is paired with carefully selected sparkling apple and pear wines, as well as characterful ciders made from traditional orchard varieties.
The menu ranges from wild boar and wild apples to roe deer, pheasant, and European hare, culminating in a dessert featuring Boskoop apples, walnuts, and black apples. The beverages thread through the flavors like a common thread, bringing the extraordinary diversity of heirloom fruit varieties to life in the glass.
A special highlight of the evening is the exclusive guided tour of the Cranach Collection at the Grunewald Hunting Lodge, which complements the culinary experience with an art-historical perspective.
