On 31 January, you are invited to a reading with Marc Degens at the Verlagsbuchhandlung bookshop in Berlin-Pankow. In his new novel, Degens tells of the triumph of graphic novels, the thrill of possibility and the pitfalls of independent publishing.

Fast-paced and written in addictive language, ‘Verführung der Unschuldigen’ (Seduction of the Innocent) recounts the bohemian lives of its characters in a unique comic milieu that inevitably leads to the loss of their innocence.
According to the FAZ, the novel allows us to ‘delve so deeply into the lives of its protagonists that we begin to feel at home in them – just like in a good TV series.’ Thus, Degens' book is ‘pop literature in the purest and best sense’ (Deutschlandfunk).
