What lies behind what I can see from the outside? Am I only someone if I have things and wear the most expensive clothes? In “Look at Me!”, three dancers rummage through a mountain of clothing. They wear, knot, and tangle themselves up; they build themselves up, outdo one another, are together and yet alone again: a dynamic interplay between self-promoting poses, the desire to belong, and the search for one’s own expression.
A dance piece meant to encourage you to raise your own voice.
Because I can’t buy an inner attitude; nor a body or a voice. Expressing myself is something no one can take away from me.
