Feat: Matt Adomeit-Mathias Ruppnig-Daniel Stawinsky
The JAZZ CLUB A-TRANE presents Hugo Fernandez with his quartet, featuring Matt Adomei, Mathias Ruppnig, and Daniel Stawinsky. Their album release concert for “RIVERMIND” delivers a creative fusion of jazz with pop and folk influences.
The album Rivermind, recorded in Berlin in 2025, is the sixth release by the talented guitarist Hugo Fernández.
It contains seven new compositions played by a Berlin-based quartet that creatively combines jazz with pop and folk influences. His previous album, Cosmogram (2015, Origin Records), featuring Antonio Sánchez on drums, was voted one of the best albums of the year by Down Beat magazine.

Hugo Fernandez collaborates with German pianist Daniel Stawinski, who has studied various musical traditions such as Balkan folklore, Persian classical, European classical and Cuban music.
American bassist Matt Adomeit grew up with an eclectic mix of jazz, baroque and classical music.
Mathias Ruppnig from Austria is an outstanding drummer who can play everything from conventional jazz to experimental modern jazz.
