The all-female vocal ensemble LUMINOSA and the Berlin-based actress Gesine Cukrowski bring moving episodes from the lives of well-known and hidden heroines to life through text and music.
Among them are Mileva Marić, the brilliant mathematician and Albert Einstein's first wife, and the writer Virginia Woolf, who challenged traditional gender roles with her modern perspective. Complementing the texts is music by women such as Evelyn Klaunzer and Abigél Varga, who were commissioned to create compositions specifically for this evening.
