A novel about perception, family entanglements, and the fear of irreversible change.
Steglitz Reading: Gabriele Treige reads from her new novel, *Das Fenster*. A novel about perception, family entanglements, and the fear of irreversible change.
In *Das Fenster*, Gabriele Treige tells the story of a seemingly ordinary Sunday in May: The mother’s window remains closed—and what begins as a minor irritation develops into a whirlpool of memories, projections, and unspoken conflicts. An intense novel about mother-daughter bonds, the fear of loss, and the fragility of the familiar.
Regina Seehausen will accompany the reading with short pieces on the violin.
