And it’s just waiting to be taken over with a few well-placed remote code executions – a sort of digital remote control. The only question is: by whom? And to what end?

The five nerds are, of course, the good guys; they defeat the system using its own methods and bring it crashing down with a revolutionary cyber-attack. After all: ‘If you want to win, you have to learn from people who own the planet, are ruining it and then want to leave.’

In her latest novel, Sibylle Berg takes contemporary trends and facts a step further in her fictional world, and director Kay Voges brings them to the stage true to the motto:
