Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart Berlin

To kick off the summer, the Hamburger Bahnhof is celebrating three days of art, music, and culture with a diverse program and free admission from Friday, June 12, to Sunday, June 14, 2026.

This year’s Open House will feature the opening of the new collection exhibition “Tausendmal Berlin” to mark the 30th anniversary of the Hamburger Bahnhof. As every year, the season’s first Berlin Beats DJ set will take place in the museum garden to kick off the Open House, this time featuring Kikelomo.

  • 12:30 p.m. Backstage tour of the storage area (German)

  • 1:30 p.m. Curator-led tour: “Shilpa Gupta. What Still Holds” with Ulya Soley (English)
  • 2:00 p.m. General tour (German)
  • 2:30 PM Curator-led tour: “Saâdane Afif. Five Preludes” with Deputy Director and Head of Collections Gabriele Knapstein (German)
  • 3:00 p.m. General tour (English)
  • 3:30 p.m. Backstage tour of the storage facility (German)
  • 4:00 p.m. General tour (German)
  • 5:00 PM Welcome by Directors Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath
  • 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Berlin Beats DJ set by Kikelomo / Courtyard
