An option for anyone who has limited time or prefers a shorter route—without having to sacrifice the spirit, magic, or shared energy of the NorthCape4000.
Riders starting in Berlin embark on a 3,000-km adventure, saving about a week compared to the full route starting in Rovereto—without sacrificing any of the excitement, scenery, or the deep sense of accomplishment.

And right here, at the Brandenburg Gate, hundreds more cyclists will join the group during the stopover on July 30 July—each with their own story to tell, but above all with a story that has yet to be written.
A story that will be written together with you, over the 3,000 magnificent kilometers that still lie ahead of us.
Berlin, the only city in the world that has lived two lives and embodied two identities. Its streets pulsate with creative energy, and its atmosphere is steeped in a past that seamlessly merges with a future that is constantly in motion.
After securing your second stamp at the Brandenburg Gate, you finally have time to enjoy a juicy currywurst and an ice-cold wheat beer. As you savor these delicacies, something wells up inside you like a raging river: a strange awareness—the awareness of someone who, despite all odds, has conquered the world beneath his wheels.
It is an indescribable feeling, one that only dreamers and adventurers are lucky enough to experience. Because ultimately, believe it or not, the NorthCape4000 is exactly that: an extraordinary human experience that turns an impossible vision into reality.
That’s why you’re here. To experience the unrepeatable and discover yourself on roads that have never been traveled before. The route that separates Berlin from the shores of the Baltic Sea, where you board the ferry to Sweden, offers you a string of tiny villages hidden in clearings, poetic medieval towns, and the unmistakable spirit of Northern Germany. But now your compass points east, past the city of Szczecin in Poland and on to the port of Świnoujście, where you set sail for Ystad in Sweden.
A legendary route
The sum of all experiences and the perfect expression of the most beautiful, harmonious, and safest route that has ever existed in the eight years of NorthCape4000—the 9th edition bears your name.
Eight editions of continuous refinement have made it possible to perfect every detail to offer you a legendary route—spectacular, breathtaking, and above all, increasingly safe. A route that traverses Europe along its most coveted route, the one that opens the gates to the far north and touches upon some of the most iconic and impressive landscapes on the entire continent.
The picturesque town of Cheb in the Czech Republic, Gate 3 in the charming village of Gränna on the shores of the magical Lake Vättern, and dozens of other highlights that made the 8th edition unforgettable, return in the 9th edition—combined with a breathtaking selection of new sections that make this chapter fresh, surprising, and ready for discovery once again.
Every year, the NorthCape4000 team creates an event that completely redefines the meaning of adventure by designing a route of incredible value—thanks to countless hours spent studying the latest maps and conducting meticulous field research. Every year, you’ll encounter new faces, new atmospheres, and new emotions from a Europe that never ceases to surprise—a continent where, even in the age of smartphones, you can still feel like a pioneer.
