Ethereal Music by Gesualdo
In the first NoonSong following the summer break, unexpectedly brooding, austere words are set to music by the eccentric Italian Renaissance prince Gesualdo, who became known not only for his unprecedented harmonies but also for the murder of his wife and her rival.

NoonSong – what is it?
Every Saturday at noon, locals, visitors to Berlin, music fans, and architecture enthusiasts gather for NoonSong. It is both a concert and a church service, developed from the Anglican Evensong. Eight professional singers from the vocal ensemble sirventes berlin perform choral music under the direction of Stefan Schuck. The repertoire ranges from Renaissance music to contemporary compositions.
