Messa da Requiem

Now, for the first time, Verdi's masterpiece is being staged in an exciting new arrangement, with conductor Melih Tepretmez writing a version for soloists, choir, two concert grand pianos and solo cello.

Music lovers will experience the Requiem from a whole new perspective. The heavenly sound of the solo cello allows the audience to experience the masterpiece from a completely new angle. One of Berlin's most renowned and oldest choirs, the Ernst Senff Choir, will give the piece a very special accent with its full and colourful sound in this premiere performance.
