Ruppnig, who lives in Berlin, is known for his distinctive style in European jazz and his collaborations with artists such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Doug Weiss, Jim Rotondi, Charles Altura, Ben van Gelder, Jeremy Pelt, Bill McHenry, China Moses, Annett Louisan, and Justin Stanton.
For this concert, he has assembled a top-tier international quartet featuring Carl Morgan on guitar, Omri Abramov on saxophone, Giacomo Tagliavia on bass, and himself on drums.
