Curtain up for the great emotions: love, longing, sorrow, joy, and pure zest for life. The French composers Francis Poulenc, Claude Debussy, Camille Saint-Saëns, and Hector Berlioz transform the full spectrum of human feelings into vibrant music.
Dance-like and dreamy, passionate and poetic
In the interplay of impressionistic soundscapes and dramatic expressiveness, a concert full of atmosphere unfolds. The highlight is Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique, a milestone of program music. With this Easter concert, the Berlin State Youth Orchestra presents a program brimming with passion, imagination, and French spirit.
