The American blues musician and guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd has been active in the international blues rock scene since the 1990s. He taught himself his musical skills on the guitar. He first picked up the guitar at the age of seven.

The musician is often described as the successor to blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughan, and is faced with a luxurious dilemma: what to do when, after producing an album, there is enough great material left for a second one?
The solution is simple: first, keep the unused songs, let some time pass after the release of the first album and then experiment with new styles and sound structures. This ultimately results in another exciting album that, thanks to its authentic originality, is much more than just a sequel or a mere rehash.
