A musical tribute to the 250th birthday of Queen Louise
Queen Louise remains the most popular woman in Prussian history. Idealized by posterity, her life was in reality marked by family challenges and Prussia's political crisis in the conflict with Napoleon.
The Havelland Ensemble's concert tells the story of this style-defining and music-loving monarch. The program includes works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, and Johann Friedrich Reichardt.
Presented by Dr. Guido Böhm
