For six years, things had been quiet around the four members of Giftones from Berlin. But they were by no means idle: in the studio, they refined their sound and reinvented themselves musically—with a clear goal in mind. In March 2026, their new album “Berlin at Night” (recordjet) was released, featuring seven previously unreleased and newly arranged power-pop songs that showcase a new, personal, and musical side of the band.

Giftones - Record Release Party
Anyone who wants to experience these songs live is cordially invited to the record release party on June 13, 2026, at Art Stalker in Berlin.
Giftones—that’s Mirko (drums), Frank (bass), Philipp (vocals/keyboards), and Tobias (guitar).
They were brought together in 2010 by their shared, unconditional love of music. After various band projects and lineups—including The Out, Eight Of Clubs, and The Mint—the current lineup finally came together.
With their authentic indie rock-pop, Giftones want one thing above all else: to inspire people. Since their formation, the band has played numerous clubs and stages in Berlin and beyond—including the Privatclub, Sage, Bi Nuu, and Wild at Heart.
The songs tell of relationships, longing, and life’s ups and downs. Musically, guitars, atmospheric synths, and driving drums blend into a rich soundscape. Stylistically, the whole thing falls somewhere between Coldplay, U2, and Kings of Leon.
Following their debut EP “Diamond” (Duo Records) in 2011, they released “EST. 2014,” a critically acclaimed full-length album featuring 13 live-recorded tracks, via Finest Noise Records/Radar Music. The album was produced by Christian Pfeiffer, who has previously collaborated with artists such as Bosse and Mighty Oaks.
