re:organ - Laboratory for new organ sounds

GAMUT INC explores the new sonic possibilities of the computer-controlled pipe organ. The focus is less on virtuosic playing technique and more on what emerges beyond human control: the subtlest shifts, nuanced sonic events, temporal superimpositions, and rhythmic processes without a fixed framework. Automation here serves not as an effect, but as a central compositional tool.

The concert features works from the organ album Radiating, which radically explores these potentials. The music moves between harmonic density and noise, between static soundscapes and accelerated textures. Layers are set in motion, harmonies shift, rhythms arise from friction and repetition – a physically palpable, intoxicating pull that brings the Schuke organ of the Sophienkirche to life in a way never heard before.

  • Performers: Marion Wörle and Maciej Śledziecki (MIDI-controlled organ)
  • Works performed: Music by GAMUT INC ("Radiating")
