Concert by the Original Oberkreuzberg Nose Flute Orchestra

As part of the Fête de la Musique on June 21, the Original Oberkreuzberg Nose Flute Orchestra will perform starting at 4:00 p.m. on the plaza in front of the Werkbundarchiv – Museum der Dinge.

For 35 years, the Original Oberkreuzberg Nose Flute Orchestra has been performing well-known pieces—from ABBA to Frank Zappa—on the nose flute. The Kreuzberg band plays this small wind instrument, which features a mouthpiece and a nose piece, with great energy, self-deprecating humor, and a delight in musical absurdity.

The performances by the Kreuzberg band, which describes itself as “anarchic, regressive,” resemble a neo-Dadaist performance.

  • Admission to the museum is free on June 21 for the Fête de la Musique.
