ELISABETH LEONSKAJA
Just a few months after the 50th anniversary of Dmitri Shostakovich's death, Elisabeth Leonskaja dedicates herself to his diverse piano works and offers a multifaceted insight into his expressive diversity.
In addition to the Second Piano Sonata from 1943, she will perform the Concertino for Two Pianos with Mihály Berecz – a work that Shostakovich frequently performed with his son. She will perform the moving Piano Quintet in G minor from 1940 with the renowned Signum Quartet.
