Read everything, read nothing more. A reading diary, a transcript, notes from and about a utopian, exquisite, well-read, yet unread place. A lecture, an attempt to move forward, from a low point, from a high point, and always into another text, into memories of texts or the observation of the world.

Encountering the world and all its events through reading, responding through reading, coming to terms with and coping through reading. What are you reading there? I read everything and nothing, both at the same time. A lecture performance made up of traces, generating further traces. Fragments, reading pieces, scraps, networks of a (shared) whole (with fringes and snails). Reading as a mode of movement. Reading as a search for acts of solidarity, for ways and paths. An evening about the read-through life in a read-through world.

By Heike Geißler, Anna Lena von Helldorff with Charlotte Puder and with the accompanying participation of Barbara Bausch.

A collaborative event with EXC 2020 Temporal Communities. Doing Literature in a Global Perspective, Freie Universität Berlin as part of the READING READING project.
