Interactive "Where's the Object?" Book Premiere
On September 6, Cornelia will present her new book, *Where Fairies Build Nests and Goblins Hatch from Books*, at the 26th International Berlin Literature Festival. The event will be moderated by Lena Anlauf, program director for children’s and young adult books at kunstanstifter Verlag.

“Where Fairies Build Nests and Goblins Hatch from Books” takes us into enchanted forests and introduces us to wondrous mythical creatures. This “wimmelbuch” (book full of hidden details) brings together both familiar and new characters from Cornelia Funke’s imagination.
Cornelia Funke (Germany/Italy), the author and illustrator of children’s and young adult books, has received the Federal Cross of Merit for her literary work, among other honors, as well as the German Youth Literature Prize in 2022 for her entire body of work.
