Convergence returns for its thirteenth edition with an evening of experimental music, movement, and interdisciplinary performance. This edition brings together Vincent Laju (soundpoetry), PrismOcean (movement& drones), and Soheil Soheili & Leonie Roessler (field improvisation), each presenting a distinct approach to improvisation, listening, and sonic exploration.

From acoustic instruments and spoken word to immersive electronics, field recordings, and embodied performance, Convergence XIII invites audiences into a shared space where diverse artistic practices intersect and every performance unfolds uniquely in the moment.

Cellist, shakuhachi player, visual artist, and poet Vincent Laju (France/Germany) explores the intersections of sound, text, and image. Active as both a solo performer and collaborator, his practice moves fluidly between contemporary composition and free improvisation, with performances across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States.

PrismOcean is the improvised collaboration of butoh-inspired dancer Lesley Suzanne Dean (USA) and ambient musician Dirk Markham (UK). Together they create immersive performances where expressive movement and electro acoustic sound evolve in dialogue, exploring themes of vulnerability, transformation, and presence.

Soheil Soheili (Iran / Germany) is a sound engineer, musician, and label manager, while Leonie Roessler (Germany / Netherlands) is a composer, performer, and radio artist working with field recordings. As founders of Noise à Noise Record Label, they recently expanded their long-standing collaboration into live performances built around structured improvisation, analogue electronics, slide guitar, and environmental sound.
