Dutch violinist Luna van Leeuwen has been praised for her exceptional expressiveness from a young age. Van Leeuwen Banciu
Andrei Banciu, born in Timişoara (Romania), won prizes at numerous national and international competitions from an early age, including Rovere d’Oro, San Bartolomeo al Mare, Italy (1995), and the Kissinger Piano Olympics in Bad Kissingen, Germany (2004).
Concert appearances have taken him to venues including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London, the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, the Teatro Ristori and Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, as well as to the United States. In Germany, he has participated in major music festivals such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the “Kissinger Sommer” in Bad Kissingen, and the European Week in Passau.
