In addition to the emotional dimension, Pietro Massa's piano playing is characterized by remarkable intelligence. His interesting programs are characterized by long-forgotten or lost works. He is particularly fascinated by the Italian piano repertoire of the 19th and 20th centuries. In the field of chamber music, the pianist has worked with members of the Staatskapelle Berlin, as well as with the Rachmaninoff String Quartet from Russia and the Lamy String Quartet from Japan.

Pietro Massa was born in Milan in 1973. He not only studied piano, but also classical philology and received his doctorate in musicology from the Freie Universität Berlin.
