"A New Era of Romanticism" is the title of today's concert. The four composers maintained close friendships, sharing their thoughts on life and music in letters and conversations, thus inspiring one another.


Experience highly romantic, emotionally charged works, performed at the highest musical level. Between pieces, excerpts from letters, diaries, and other contemporary sources will be read. Let yourself be transported to the world of Romanticism and its incomparable soundscapes.

  • Works for violin and piano by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy (Violin Sonata in F major, 1820), Clara Schumann (Three Romances, Op. 22 for violin and piano), Robert Schumann (Violin Sonata in A minor, Op. 105), and Johannes Brahms (Violin Sonata, Op. 100)
