Oppression can occur in the workplace, in the pressure to move from one job to the next, in the way someone looks at us on the street or at the supermarket, and in the assumptions made about our gender, social class, immigrant background, language, or body.
Bralin (Brazil + Berlin) is a forum theater group open to people of all sexual orientations and from all countries of origin. Bralin explores how personal situations are connected to broader social structures. Through imagery, movement, dialogue, and audience participation, the group creates an interactive theatrical space to examine where oppression becomes normalized, how it affects everyday life, and how collective resistance and solidarity can emerge.
