With Skin (Skin) and Skull (Skull), the Boulez Ensemble, under the direction of François-Xavier Roth, is devoting its first performance to the music of British composer Rebecca Saunders.

The two works mark the opening and closing of a triptych created by Berlin-based Ernst von Siemens Music Prize winner Rebecca Saunders between 2016 and 2023. The program is complemented by Maurice Ravel's Sonata for Violin and Cello, composed in the early 1920s.
