In her new program and studio album, *Song Of A Girl*, jazz singer Anna Margolina sets to music poems by the poet Anna Margolin (1887–1952), with whom she shares not only her name but also her country of origin. Jazz blends with elements of folk, soul, and pop—performed by an accomplished, international ensemble.

Rosa Lebensboim, who came from a traditional Jewish family, emigrated from what was then Belarus to New York in the 1920s, where she wrote under a pseudonym. Literary critics were convinced that such powerful texts must have been written by a man. Here, the band reflects on Margolin’s literary exploration of tradition, gender, history, religion, and the universal human longing for love and belonging.

As in her debut album “One Endless Night” (2023), the singer explores the search for identity and the fusion of cultures. The band performs at renowned venues and festivals and will release its new album in the summer of 2026.
