Special guest Jonas Kaufmann, who has sung his way to the top of the world with his warm, powerful tenor voice, performs some of the most beautiful arias from Italian operas, transporting the audience to the south under Berlin’s starry night sky.
With Respighi’s richly textured tone poems Pini di Roma and Fontane di Roma, we wander through the Eternal City—from the pine trees of Villa Borghese to the glittering Trevi Fountain.
