Berlin Firefighter Stairrun 2026

Victory is only possible in teams of two. Only active firefighters from professional, volunteer, company, and industrial fire departments are eligible to participate. Both team members must wear full turnout gear, including breathing apparatus.

The finish line is high: 39 floors, approximately 110 meters above Berlin, on the observation deck of the Park Inn Hotel. Those who reach the top have made it.

The 14th Berlin Firefighter Stairrun will take place on April 18, 2026.

The course:
Starts are at 30-second intervals (Fire-Fly: 60 seconds) directly on Alexanderplatz. After about 200 meters, the route continues along the side of the hotel, through the lobby, and up the stairs to the 20th floor. There, accompanied by the cheers of the Diamonds Berlin cheerleaders, the route leads across the hotel corridor before ascending the final 19 floors to the observation deck, offering a view of the TV Tower.

Schedule:

• 8:00 a.m. – Registration opens
• 10:45 a.m. – First starting group marches in
• Approx. 4:15 p.m. – Awards ceremony
