Karl O’Connor, also known as Regis, is a key figure in the British techno scene and has been running the Downwards label since 1993, which is known for its radical, unconventional approach.

Regis / Liam Andrews
Liam Andrews has been exploring experimental post-punk for two decades and, under the pseudonym AICHER, creates atonal, industrial compositions. The two are united by a long-standing artistic collaboration.
Sandwell District, consisting of Regis and Function, returned in 2025 after more than a decade. The duo refines its raw, uncompromising sound and preserves the legacy of its late member, Silent Servant.
