Performance art gives voice to powerful voices at the intersection of design, the body as a medium, and narrative—and Bande á Part – Tanzbare Veranstaltung für

outsiders.

The dance and performance series is a creative space for performers, an open field of experimentation that artists use to give voice to their expressive strengths—from choreography and movement vocabulary to spoken word. Our next edition explores art’s razor-sharp power of commentary and the body as a battleground—the curtain falls on June 16, 2026, for the performance TRIGGERWARNUNG.

A contemporary ritual of resilience for rubber dummies

TRIGGERWARNUNG 1: Art Entertainment

Everything is a story. Mariola Brillowska suffers from fabularism—a pronounced, self-diagnosed, and untreatable compulsion to tell stories. The artist hosts and presents her garish animated images with biting commentary, radio play sketches full of bizarre characters, and spoken-poetry songs about love and a broken world. Role models are turned upside down, trash aesthetics play with political satire.

TRIGGER WARNING 2: CARE. LESS. CARESS

This ritual might defy common expectations of what resilience means today. What happens to the perpetrator-victim reversal when I honor it? Why should I assert myself when I can just as easily surrender? How much tantra can a boxing dummy actually withstand? And, how can one defend against 62 million clicks?

V3 offers her body as a battleground where physical self-determination meets philosophical encroachment. A trigger? Perfect. We use it to massage ourselves internally, to loosen up, and to free our thought patterns from their stories.

About Bande á Part – A Danceable Event for Outsiders:

Since 2011, Bande á Part has provided a creative space for performers, an open field of experimentation for artistic self-realization. In an innovative way, the series sets a standard for independent art and playfully embraces the outsider status of independent creative projects: outsiders are renowned artists who take advantage of and enrich this experimental space for self-expression; they are also emerging artists who realize their potential, experiment, and develop further within the series.

Contrary to fixed choreographic and conceptual frameworks, Bande á Part represents a platform that requires no fixed genre definitions, but rather spans a framework of orientation through contemporary dance and performance. In place of conformity and subordination comes artistic development, the exploration and testing of one’s own artistic potential. It’s time for experiments!
